Dani Davies

Dani Davies

Dani trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and works as an actress and acting teacher. She became a LAMDA examiner in 2010. She has taught LAMDA at Wellington College, Leighton Park, Crosfields and Kendrick School and has helped many private students gain places at Drama schools across the country.

Emily Smith

Emily Smith

Emily teaches at Leighton Park and Crosfields, she trained at the Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford in Musical Theatre and graduated in 2012. Since leaving college, Emily became a Singing and Drama Coach, Director and Musical Director based mostly in and around Berkshire.

Emily has also been working as a singing coach for over four years, offering lessons in technique, repertoire, confidence building, vocal safety and Musical Theatre LAMDA. She completed her Level 1&2 in 'Estill Voice Training' and is intending to continue training in all aspects of the voice. Estill is used widely by professionals and voice coaches all over the world.


Toby Davies

Toby Davies

Toby trained at the Bristol Old Vic and is on the LAMDA board of examiners. He teaches at Wellington College and adjudicates at drama festivals. Toby also runs RBL's Shakespeare Workshops for schools programme.


Jak Ford-Lane

Jak started assisting and teaching at 19 with The Watermill outreach programme, before he went to study at East 15. Alongside acting he still teaches regularly with; The Watermill, RBL foundations, BTS and has worked for PQA and is hired by other companies. Jak teaches both LAMDA and specialised drama workshops.


Rachel Mary

Rachel is a local Actor & Director committed to the growth of theatre and theatre education in Reading. Rachel studied Theatre at the University of Essex before training with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company and the Commedia School in Northern Italy. Rachel Co-Directs the Youth Theatre programme at Progress Theatre and runs her own Acting Classes as well as teaching for RBL, Berkshire Theatre Company and Wellington College. Rachel is enormously proud to work with RBL who continue to raise the profile of professional theatre in this town - exciting times ahead!


Annie Kershaw

Annie studied Drama and Theatre Arts at The University of Birmingham and majored in directing. Since graduating in 2017, she has been interning with Reading Between The Lines and Reading Rep. She is a leader of the Reading Rep Theatre youth group and was Assistant Director on RBL's Foundations production of Romeo and Juliet.


Emily Evans

Emily trained at the Arts University Bournemouth and Graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting  in 2017. She has worked with Reading Between the Lines in their previous productions of Matilda the Empress and Twelfth Night. She is an Advance Level Actor Combatant and is starting her training to become a Stage Combat Instructor. Having just returned from a 7 month tour of the UK playing Maid Marion in Robin Hood, she has now returned home to Reading, where she is excited to start teaching again.
